☛ Handmade Singing Bowl: Traditional Craftsmanship

The creation of a hand-beaten bronze singing bowl is a meticulous process passed down through generations. The steps include:

  1. Metal Alloy Formation – A blend of copper and tin is melted to create the base material.
  2. Molding – The molten metal is poured into a mold to form the initial bowl shape.
  3. Hand-Hammering – Skilled artisans meticulously hammer and shape the bowl, ensuring a balanced tone and deep resonance.
  4. Tuning – The sound is refined to achieve a harmonic and meditative quality.
  5. Polishing & Carving – The bowl is polished and decorated with intricate Buddhist or Hindu symbols.

Each singing bowl is unique in tone and design, reflecting the craftsmanship of the artisan.

☛ About the Etching & Carving

This handmade singing bowl features high-quality etching and carving. Unlike standard etching, which uses thicker brushes resulting in broader lines, this bowl’s design was crafted by a skilled Thangka artist, ensuring fine, intricate details and precise line work. This level of artistry enhances both its visual beauty and spiritual significance.
