Green Tara – Brief Introduction
Green Tara, also known as Samaya Tara, is revered as the embodiment of compassion and swift action. She is depicted in a posture of royal ease, with her left leg folded and her right leg extended, resting on a blue lotus – symbolizing her readiness to rise and help those in need.

Adorned in maroon Buddhist robes and fine jewelry, her appearance conveys serenity and divine grace. The earrings signify patience, understanding, and renunciation, while her five-jeweled diadem represents the transformation of the five delusions into the Five Buddha Wisdoms.

Seated on a white moon disk – symbolizing healing nectar and connected to the navel chakra – Green Tara radiates calmness and wisdom. Her right hand displays the Varada Mudra, the gesture of compassion and the granting of boons.

Full Fire Gold Plating
This Green Tara statue features full mercury gold plating, also known as fire gold plating. This traditional Nepali technique involves applying a genuine gold layer over the copper base, offering exceptional brilliance, authenticity, and durability.

Unlike electroplating, mercury gold plating is considered the authentic and traditional method in Nepal. Its revival reflects a growing appreciation for artisanal quality, heritage craftsmanship, and spiritual integrity.

Ceramic Molding Technique
Crafted using the ceramic mold casting method, this statue embodies both tradition and modern precision. The process begins with a detailed wax model, which is coated in ceramic to form a strong mold.

Once fired in a kiln, the wax melts away, leaving a cavity into which molten metal is poured. After cooling, the mold is carefully broken to reveal the final copper statue. This method offers exceptional detail and finish – a true fusion of ancient artistry and contemporary technique.
