About the Jambati Singing Bowl
The Jambati Singing Bowl is a traditional, hand-beaten Himalayan bowl with deep roots in Buddhist practice dating back to the 18th century. Originally used for grain storage, Jambati bowls evolved into sacred sound instruments renowned for their low, resonant tones.

Characterized by its U-shaped curve, thick rim, and substantial weight, this bowl is particularly valued for use in chakra healing, sound baths, meditation, and energy work. Its tone is long-lasting, grounding, and deeply calming.

Handcrafted with Traditional Techniques
Each Jambati bowl is made using the hand-hammering process, a traditional and intricate technique passed down through generations of Nepali artisans. After casting a raw alloy of seven metals (including copper and tin), the bowl is shaped and refined entirely by hand.

The repeated hammering balances the bowl’s wall thickness and shape, creating the ideal conditions for a powerful and harmonically rich sound. The final product is polished and often engraved with spiritual motifs, like the Double Dorje on this piece, symbolizing strength, protection, and indestructibility.

Double Dorje Carving – Symbolic Detail
The Double Dorje (Vajra) etched into this bowl is a symbol of unwavering spiritual power and protection in both Tibetan and Hindu traditions. It adds a deeper layer of spiritual resonance, making this bowl not only a sound healing tool but also a meaningful artifact for your altar or sacred space.

What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG)
We proudly follow a WYSIWYG policy: the exact bowl shown in the listing photos and videos is the one you will receive. Upon purchase, the media will be removed, and the listing will revert to a standard template to ensure uniqueness and transparency for every customer.

Accessories – Sold Separately
The base price includes the singing bowl only. Accessories such as a wooden mallet, felt striker, and cushion can be added separately. These accessories are priced to include shipping fees and are available to customize your order as per your needs.

Etching & Craftsmanship
The bowl’s design is enhanced with traditional etching, a technique involving acid or mordant to engrave sacred patterns into the metal surface. These designs are not just decorative—they carry cultural and spiritual significance, connecting the user to ancient Himalayan traditions.

Perfect for:
• Meditation and mindfulness practice
