☛ Naga Singing Bowl: Brief Introduction

The Naga Singing Bowl consists of two parts:

  1. The bowl itself, which has a rounded base and cannot stand upright on its own.
  2. A metal platform, designed to hold the bowl securely.

These bowls are often elaborately decorated, with engravings that may serve ceremonial or symbolic purposes. Some engraved Naga bowls are traditionally used in Tibetan rituals, while others are gifted as meaningful offerings.

☛ Request a Sound Check

Each Naga Singing Bowl is personally inspected to ensure its sound quality and resonance. If you wish to hear the bowl before purchasing, we offer a sound-check service for a nominal fee of $2. This non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your final invoice upon purchase.

☛ Included Accessories

Your purchase includes:

  • A cushion for stability
  • A wooden mallet for striking
  • A felt mallet for playing

Additional accessories can be purchased separately. If you need assistance, please let us know.

☛ Hand-Beaten Singing Bowl Crafting Process

The creation of a handmade bronze singing bowl follows a traditional, multi-step process:

  1. Metal Alloy Formation – A blend of copper and tin is melted to create the base material.
  2. Molding – The molten metal is poured into a mold to form the bowl’s initial shape.
  3. Hand-Hammering – Skilled artisans hammer and shape the bowl, refining its thickness and structure.
  4. Sound Tuning – The bowl is adjusted to produce a balanced, resonant tone.
  5. Polishing & Engraving – The final piece is polished and may feature intricate Buddhist or Hindu symbols.

This time-honored craftsmanship ensures each singing bowl has a unique and authentic sound.
