Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha
The title “Buddha” originates from the Sanskrit word meaning “awakened one,” symbolizing supreme awareness and enlightenment. Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Gautama Buddha, was born around 563 BCE in Lumbini, Nepal. Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting Method

After the wax is melted away, molten copper is poured in to form the final sculpture. Once cooled and the mold is removed, the statue is cleaned, polished, gold-plated, painted, and inlaid with stones.
