Vajrayogini: The Diamond Female Yogi
Vajrayogini (literally “the diamond female yogi”) is a central deity in Highest Yoga Tantra within Vajrayana Buddhism. She is a powerful Yidam whose practices offer profound methods to transcend the cycles of death, intermediate state, and rebirth—transforming them into paths toward enlightenment.
She appears in many sādhanas (spiritual practices) in various forms, most notably as Vajravārāhī and Krodikali, reflecting different aspects of awakened wisdom. Vajrayogini is also considered a ḍākiṇī (sky-goer)—a female embodiment of enlightened energy—and ultimately a female Buddha.
Traditional Color Finishing
The statue features authentic traditional color finishing, combining deep reds, gold, and subtle accent tones. These colors are not merely decorative; they are essential to the symbolic identity of the deity, with red representing the fire of wisdom and transformation.
Each brushstroke is guided by centuries-old techniques that honor the sacred form and spiritual presence of Vajrayogini.
Handcrafted with Ceramic Mold Casting
This piece was made using the ceramic mold casting process, a precise and refined technique in modern sculpture-making. The process involves:
Sculpting a detailed wax model
Coating it with ceramic layers
Firing it to remove the wax
Pouring molten copper into the mold
Breaking the mold to reveal the final sculpture
The result is a high-fidelity miniature statue with crisp details and a smooth finish, ideal for home altars, personal practice, or sacred art collections.
