Yellow Jambhala: Brief Introduction
Jambhala (also known as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Zambala, or Jambala) is the God of Wealth and a revered figure within the Jewel Family, often associated with Ratnasambhava. He is sometimes identified with the Hindu deity Kubera and is believed to be an emanation of Avalokitesvara (Chenrezig), the Bodhisattva of Compassion.

There are five different forms of wealth Jambhalas, each offering unique mantras and practices to eliminate poverty and ensure financial stability. According to Gyalten Sogdzin Rinpoche, Jambhala is a protector of all lineages and sentient beings, safeguarding them from sickness and hardship. As a Bodhisattva of both material and spiritual abundance, Jambhala supports the reduction of misfortunes, obstacles, and negative energies, while enhancing prosperity, good fortune, and happiness.

Full Fire Gold Plating
This Yellow Jambhala statue is crafted using traditional fire gold plating, also referred to as mercury gold plating. This method involves applying a genuine layer of gold to the statue, a time-honored technique considered the most authentic form of gold plating in Nepal. While more costly than electroplating, mercury gold plating is valued for its durability, authenticity, and rich aesthetic. The renewed appreciation for this traditional craftsmanship reflects Nepal’s deep-rooted cultural artistry.

Ceramic Molding System
The statue is produced through the ceramic molding process, a modern casting method that replaces traditional lost-wax or rubber molding techniques. It begins with a precisely sculpted wax model, which is coated in multiple layers of ceramic material. Once hardened, the mold is fired in a kiln, causing the wax to melt and exit, leaving behind an exact cavity. Molten copper is then poured into this cavity to form the statue. Once cooled, the ceramic shell is broken away, revealing the finished metal figure. This process ensures fine detail, sharp lines, and superior craftsmanship.
